She has obtained a Food and Human Nutrition degree from Newcastle University and a Nutritional Therapy diploma from The Institute of Optimum Nutrition. Lily's extensive knowledge of the science of food and health has enabled her feature on ITV's prime time series Save Money: Lose Weight, and is a regular contributor to The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Independent, Cosmopolitan and Women's Health.
Lily will be creating and presenting bespoke nutritional workshops for our clients starting on World Health Day (7 April) for one of our global fashion clients.
When Lily is not being a nutritionist, she loves visiting new health cafes and farmers markets, she can also be found at her favourite body combat class every weekend.
Lily’s 3 top wellness tips:
1) Create healthy habits rather than restrictions - by thinking about all the amazing healthy foods that you can have, you’ll quickly have less room for the not-so healthy stuff.
2) Balance blood sugar - important for so many aspects of health including energy and weight management. Focus on a balance of good quality protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates and fibre rich vegetables.
3) Health is homemade - cooking from scratch is a fast track way to eliminate chemicals, excess salt, sugar and unhealthy trans-fats. And there’s no need to focus on complex recipes, simple 3-4 ingredient meals can be just as balanced and nutrient rich.
