Farah*, 8, collects water from the Oxfam water distribution point at the Al-Manjorah IDPs camp, Bani Hassan District, Hajjah, Yemen. • • •
Over 2,800 households live in Al-Manjorah IDP camp, in Hajjah governorate. With no source of water in the surroundings, nearly 20,000 people benefit from Oxfam’s water project in the camp: every day, 264 cubic meters of water are trucked so people can have access to drinkable water and use for every day needs.
The water trucking will continue for the next two months until Oxfam finishes the water network project, after which water will be made continuously available to everyone.
