It's no surprise, the Queen Bey knows how to #BeyGood for the people! In honor of the one year anniversary of the release of her latest project Lemonade; Beyoncé launches #FormationScholars awards. Taking it a step further to support and encourage young women of color.
The focus is on young creatives. This is for the young women who dare to be different and know no boundaries. Standing strong in their confidence and consciousness.
We know Beyoncé loves the number four, so there are four colleges in partnership, and four scholarships will be awarded - one for each school. Berkelee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spellman College are the selected institutions of learning.
The students selected will either be incoming, current, or graduate students pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature, or African American Studies.
The Queen stays Queenin' Reaching back and lifting up others. This pointed focus of who she wants to help is unapologetically focused on #BrownGirls -- I like that #ReneeAroundTheWay
