Find out lillygenuineglow's Instagram My #1 health goal for 2017 is making healthy #sleep a priority. And being in bed before 11 pm. Honestly, for me it's a real challenge. Nighttime is when I can be the most productive, stay focused while studying and even get creative, but sleep has been the missing step to the healthiest me for a very long time. 
Several studies have shown how sleep deprivation, or even only partial sleep deprivation can lead to body inflammation and to various inflammatory diseases (even cancer), and may increase the risk of developing depression and diabetes. Even skin health is affected by our sleep schedule because of how sleep influences our hormones.
